Novapolis is the successor of the former Luukland's servers, best OpenTTD servers of their era
Currently Novapolis OpenTTD games have ended.
We have run several patched OpenTTD servers where you could play:

Novapolis Demise 10 years Anniversary Event

Has it been that long?
If feels like yesterday we have played on Novapolis, but in fact it has been 10 years already.
On this particular occasion I have decided to host The Novapolis Demise 10 years Anniversary Event - the one and only nostalgia trip to the one of the best OpenTTD goal servers experience and certainly the most challenging!
The event is scheduled on 21st May 2025 and game goal will be nothing else but City Builder. You can find more detail at the event page Novapolis Demise 10 years Anniversary Event.
The game will be hosted by Citymania server, the Novapolis successor.
Registration to the event will be done at Citymania discord in the novapolis-event channel.
Anyone can join, but the players who were Novapolis regulars will have priority slots reserved if signed up.
The game will be recorded live and will be on Youtube.

On this day of 3rd anniversary from Novapolis server's start, it is convinient time to release the mysterious Novapolis (formerly Luukland) code of OpenTTD source modification for everyone to see, since Novapolis and Luukland servers are gone.
You can see the last online version of it in trac web browser or checkout it via subversion from svn.novapolis.net/novapolis/svn.

A deal was struck with new CityMania team represented by darulezzz and dp. Novapolis (Luukland) server's spirit lives on.
Let's celebrate and look forward to new servers which should be launched very soon now.

Dear players, last OpenTTD game of Novapolis servers is over. Thanks for staying with us that long.
Our website will stay online. So does our IRC channel for a little time.
There is a plan to transfer some of our data to new community run by our few Novapolis community members. In the meantime you can suggest some cool and catchy name for new servers in dedicated forum thread.

I am preparing move of the data to another place, so there will be some service cutdown. The registering of new accounts will be disabled as of today's evening and quest servers will go offline at sunday midnight. Rest of the games will end on 19th May, so I have enough time to move the things properly.
I will also inform you here about new servers run by darulez and dp with some help from Muxy and me. Currently the basic work is almost done.
