Currently Novapolis OpenTTD games have ended.
We have run several patched OpenTTD servers where you could play:

Not a coat, but the client!
Our freuqent player dp who is very skilled with coding took over managing the Novapolis patch for OpenTTD client!
It adds some new totally hot hotkeys, fixes the months bug of CB gui and for those interested in understanding OpenTTD's town mechanics it gives new zoning features concerning house building.

Internet Relay Crash

As of today, IRC server became little shaky, probably unexpectedly restarted but have not relaunched correctly. With it it took down all servers.
We are working on ressurecting it, but it is still a bit unstable. Our prognose it that Novapolis servers will be fully back tomorow at best.

Hi, this night we are proceeding with larger server upgrades.
Major change is the new scoring system, which was made cleaner and should reward with more points when an achieved score is higher. Relative ranking is now strongly influenced by average score of last 10 games rather than on best and last scores. This is meant to tie it more closely to player's performace over the time.
Next weeks will prove this new system, and after evaluating results, we may decide to adjust the coeficients.
The other part of updates is more or less tiny little details, but due to their bigger amount, if you encounter any problems, report them to our admin team.
There will be next set of changes soon which should improve gameplay for GS City Builder.
You can look forward to newgrf experimental update tomorow, where banks would not give valuables so easily and farms will plant fields after 2 months after game start. This stuff will run only for few days to see how it works with gameplay.

The event finished pretty clearly with dP winning and Shader chickened out. Savegame will be soon at WIKI.
