Novapolis Rules

Current set of rules was valid since: 6th December 2012 till the end on 20.5.2015

	Rule	DESCRIPTION
#1	Quest servers(I & II): No competition, first station build -> first served! Max 1 unused station.	No competion on industries in quests servers. You can have maximally 1 unused station. This is to prevent industry reserving with lots of empty stations.
#2	Goal servers: Competition allowed! No self competition on primary industries!	You can compete on primary industries on goal servers. City builder servers have a slight limitation, that you have to transport the resource to your town, otherwise it is considered as game breaking! You can have maximally one station per each industry. Self competition is rule break! No competition on secondary industries even if you are the second to deliver resources there.
#3	Only use english in general chat. No cursing, swearing or insulting!	Explains itself.
#4	No blocking, no rating pushing, town growing only in claimed town	Blocking is serious crime. Rating pushing is the same as self competition. You can grow other town limitedly, always leave enough space for others and roads have to be used by vehicles!
#5	No land reserving, no unused roads, no station spread abusing.	You can reserve maximally 14 tiles for future stations. If you use more, or use land buy for blocking, you can get yourselves into trouble! Using non adjacent stations is allowed but they must not be chained!
	Golden rule of City Builder	Inside border of town you claimed, self competition, land buying or building unused infrastructure is not considered rulebreak.

Calling a moderator

• You can call moderator to solve a rule break by typing "!admin [reason]" to general chat or by placing a sign with text "!admin [reason]" on a map (this will also send the coordinates of the place)

Differencies between Novapolis and Luukland's servers rules

• Loading/unloading not under the station sign is not treated as a rule break on Novapolis.
• Competition on secondary industries is not allowed on Novapolis even if you are the second to deliver resources to it.
• We do not do unbans on Novapolis at this moment

Some guidelines:

• Always be polite and try to cooperate. Opposite attitude can switfly lead to hard actions.
• Always follow the chat. Moderators often only spectates and their chat talk is in grey.
• If your company was locked, you were moved to spectators or kicked out of the game, you probably broke some rules while not responding to moderator. Ask for guidance while keeping the first advice.
• Moderator and admins can ban you for any time period. Bans are not lifted, you have to wait until it ends. Use the time to meditate about your actions and impact on people around yourself.
• If you think the actions of moderator were unjust, save game for later examinations. Chat logs are being logged all the time via IRC.
• If you can not access the servers and you were not banned before, contact administrators via IRC to discuss your problem
• Enjoy your game
